Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Canadian Club of New Zealand Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also be held on Sat 6th July at the Remuera Club, 27-33 Ohinerau Street, Remuera, Auckland.

The AGM will follow the pancake breakfast which starts just after 10:00 am. The AGM will start at approximately 11:00 am.

The Canadian Club New Zealand was first established in 1982 by a small group of dedicated volunteers to help support Canadians living in NZ.  If you are passionate about continuing and supporting the work of the Club and have some time to spare, we invite you to join the Committee on this journey.  Many of these positions can provide opportunities to gain new skills and/or follow new interests.

Give it some thought, we’d love to hear from you.  An extra shout out to anyone with special Events Coordination or Prize Coordinator talents, please feel free to contact us for more information on both of these roles.

For the Annual General Meeting the following Officers and Executives are elected annually:

Contact Veronica Bird, Club Secretary at the Canadian Club by email if you wish to register interest in a specific role as an Officer or as an Executive on the committee in a general capacity as an Executive.  Registrations of interest for election by any Individual, or Family Member (aged 18 or older), must be received by the Secretary by Thu 27th June: canadianclubnz@gmail.com

If there are insufficient nominations received by Thu 27th June, then further nominations may be received at the AGM on Sat 6th July.

Prior to the AGM, on Fri 28th June, the Club Secretary will email a list of all nominations to the members.
