Maple Cup
(Sun 30 Mar 2025)
Maple Cup Challenge
Cheer on the Canadian Club of NZ as we take on the American Club in The Maple Cup Challenge, a slowpitch softball game played annually since 1986 between the American Club and the Canadian Club. Maple Cup then followed by the Nations Cup: Japan vs Canada, USA vs Japan.
In 2024 the American Club was victorious, so the Canadian Club is keen to regain the Maple Cup Trophy!
Our team captain is working on forming a team of Canucks. If you have some softball experience and a glove/bat then please let us know if you'd like to volunteer: canadianclubnz@gmail.com
The club also needs enthusiastic supporters, so, please come along and cheer on our team!! If you can, please wear red & white for Canadian colours, bring some $ for the food & drinks from the clubhouse canteen, plus don’t forget to bring a great attitude and a big voice!!
Date: Sun 30 Mar
Time: 930am - 11am
Venue: Marist Softball Club, 60 Hugo Johnston Drive, Penrose, Auckland
