Maple Cup Challenge

Cheer on the Canadian Club of NZ as we take on the American Club in The Maple Cup Challenge, a slowpitch softball game played annually since 1986 between the American Club and the Canadian Club.  

In 2022 the American Club was victorious, so the Canadian Club is keen to regain the Maple Cup Trophy!

A team of Canucks has already been formed, however, we need enthusiastic supporters, so, please come along and cheer on our team.

Please wear red & white for Canadian colours, bring some $ for the food &   drinks, plus don’t forget to bring a great attitude and a big voice.

Time:

• 9:00am teams arrival

• 9:30am teams warm-up

• 10:30am game start

• 12:00pm (approx.) Prize Giving

Venue:

• Meadowlands Reserve, 41 Meadowland Drive, Somerville/Howick, Auckland

Food & Drink:

• The Howick club will open their canteen for the event for food and non-alcoholic drinks.  

• The bar will open from 12:00 and alcohol may be served at this point.
